With
the help of Public Good PR, the plight of Jacobs
Farm became a major news story, with articles appearing in
the Santa Cruz Sentinel, Good Times, KSCO Radio and Plenty
Magazine. The local community began to rally around this
issue, and ultimately a superior court judge ruled in favor
of the farm, ordering the pesticide spraying operation to
cease its current application procedures until the hearing.
The uproar over this issue has prompted the state legislature
to begin debating remedies for this problem. |
